Math Kangaroo National Awards

The National Awards of Math Kangaroo (MK) recognize the top 20 students with the highest scores in each participating grade level. These rankings, ranging from 1 to 20, are determined independently for each grade level across the United States.

• Grades 1-4 Rankings:
  • Rank 1: Achieving a perfect score of 96.
  • Rank 2: Scoring 93, with one three-point question missed.
  • Rank 3: Earning 92, with one four-point question missed.

2025 Math Kangaroo Achievements of Think Academy Enrolled Students

Think Academy US students continued their impressive performance, highlighting the strength of our targeted training programs. In the 2025 Math Kangaroo competition, an outstanding 70% of Think Academy participants earned a spot among the National Top 20.

AMC 8 Awards

• Achievement Roll (AR): Awarded to grade 6 or younger students scoring at or above the median score of 8th graders (typically around 15 points).
• Honor Roll (HR): Awarded to students scoring in the top ~5% nationwide.
• Distinguished Honor Roll (DHR): Awarded to students in the top ~1% nationwide.

Think Academy students showcased exceptional performance, with 65% earning recognition across Achievement, Honor, and Distinguished Honor Rolls. Additionally, the number of AMC 8 award winners from Think Academy has grown exponentially between 2022 and 2025, setting historical highs in Achievement Roll, Honor Roll, and Perfect Score winners. We anticipate even greater successes in 2026.

AMC 10 Awards

• AMC 10 Award Categories:
• Achievement Roll (AR): Awarded to students in 8th grade or below who score at least 90 points.
• AIME Qualification: Awarded to top scorers, qualifying them to compete in the American Invitational Mathematics Examination (AIME), within top 6~8%.
• Honor Roll (HR): Awarded to students scoring within the top ~5%.
• Distinguished Honor Roll (DHR): Awarded to the top ~1% of AMC 10 participants.
