Precalculus is a critical math course for college admission. Scoring well in Precalculus can significantly boost your child’s weighted GPA, especially if taken as an Honors or advanced track class. 2. Prepare for AP Precalculus exam in 2025 May

With the AP Precalculus exam now officially offered by the College Board, students have an opportunity to earn college credit and stand out in their college applications. Think Academy’s Fall Precalculus course is aligned with AP exam standards and pacing. We provide in-depth concept instruction, targeted problem-solving, and timed practice aligned with AP question types to help students score a 4 or 5 on the May 2025 AP exam.

Think Academy Precalculus class consists of 2 semesters. The Fall Precalculus is the first semester, covering Unit 1, Unit 2, and some Unit 3 concepts.

3. Pathway to AP Calculus BC

Strong performance in Precalculus is the foundation for success in AP Calculus BC—the most rigorous and rewarding AP math course offered in high school. By mastering key concepts such as functions, trigonometry, exponential/logarithmic models, and limits, students gain the skills and confidence to handle the fast-paced, abstract thinking required in AP Calculus BC.

Think Academy’s approach ensures that students not only complete Precalculus, but also study limits, continuity, and differentiation in ahead, so that students can better transition to AP Calculus BC.
