Principal Mail Box

ThinkInsider Vol.3 - Principle Mailbox

Q1: I want to switch to a different teacher for the spring semester. How can I learn about each teacher’s teaching style? Can I choose a more experienced teacher? Will new teachers be less effective? What is the background of Think’s teachers? Can I see their photos, resumes, schools, and introductions?

A: Think Academy believes in the principle of “one great teacher per class.” We prioritize teachers’ passion, dedication, and strong educational backgrounds, with a rigorous selection rate of just 0.1%. All Think teachers undergo standardized training, weekly lesson planning, and follow strict service protocols to ensure top-quality classes.

Each teacher has a unique style. You can find their introductory videosbackgrounds, and classes on our website. For personalized teacher recommendations based on your child’s needs, contact the Think Director of Teaching via WeChat!

Q2: Can ACH discounts, early bird discounts, and referral discounts be combined?

A: Yes, the discounts available for current students can all be combined! However, please note that the early bird discount for current students has a deadline. This is to ensure that parents of current students can select their preferred spring semester class times and schedules in advance. Please plan accordingly, as once the deadline passes, the discount coupons will expire, and the remaining spots will be opened to the public.

Q3: How is the spring semester different from my current classes? I feel like I’m constantly re-enrolling with Think, and I’m a little unclear about how the academic terms are structured.

A: Think Academy’s courses are designed to be continuous and follow an academic-year structure. The spring semester is the longest, with 18 sessions in total, running from January to May. The course content builds on the fall semester and completes the academic year’s curriculum.

Currently, Think operates on a school-term system aligned with regular academic calendars, with three terms per year: Summer (June–August)Fall (September–December), and Spring (January–May). Moving forward, based on feedback from parents, Think will also work on offering more flexible payment options and term structures to better meet your needs.
